About Studio.Lunaea

Hello! My name is Trina, and I am the owner of and the artist at Studio.Lunaea. ♥ 

I learned to draw when I was 4 years old, and I remember being on the front porch of my home in the Philippines, staring off to the field across the house. My dad started teaching me how to draw the field and the little hut out there! At the same time, I was watching tons of anime on TV, and that's when I also started to draw anime characters from Dragonball Z, Pitchy Pitchy Pitch, and Sailor Moon. I discovered my passion for art and haven't stopped since then!

Since 2019, I have been tabling at artist alleys and vendor fairs, mainly in the Central Valley of California and Bay Area. It all started at Ani-Me Con, sharing a table with my good friend Steph (@rosemilk.t), and I have fallen in love with the artist alley community ever since! Amazing people just wanting to trade art, and con-goers admiring my artwork. It was so validating, and I haven't wanted to stop going ever since.

There will be months when I basically book myself every weekend! Though it can be tiring at times, it is always worth it! Meeting new friends, sharing art, and just genuinely making connections with everybody. ♥

I cannot imagine a life without artist alley, so the pandemic definitely hit hard. I couldn't attend events for two years, but I am so glad that we are back at it again! I am so grateful for everyone who has supported me throughout my art journey. All the experiences and the people I have encountered just get me closer to my life goal of becoming a full-time artist someday! But for now, I will be doing grad school as well as art at the same time. It's worth it so far lol!~

I took a break in 2025 to focus on achieving my dream of becoming a mother! Through this shop and our careers, my husband and I were able to do IVF and became first-time parents in January 2026! So I thank you all for helping us achieve this dream! Now that I'm a mom, I wanted to continue pursuing my passion in hopes of inspiring my daughter and my future kids to pursue their dreams someday!
